1. Mount Carmel 11-0

Palatine had their hands full all game long.

Mount Carmel wins in a blowout 34-0.

2. Wheaton Warrenville South 11-0

St. Rita gave WWS all they could handle in this one. It took some late

game heroics for the defending champs to stay perfect.

 

3. Naperville North 10-1

I was at this game. Bolingbrook was not ready for all of that offense.

North just pounds the Raiders into the ground 37-14.

 

4. Joliet Catholic 10-1

Joliet Catholic puts up 51 points against Crete

Monee. Almost seems unfair doesn’t it?

 

5. Richards 11-0

The big kids kick Glenbard South off the field.

Richards handles their business 36-19.

 

6. Morgan Park 10-1

Morgan Park continues to mop the floor with suburban

schools. Glenbard West loses a heartbreaker 34-27.

 

7. Fremd 11-0

Over the last 2 games Fremd has won by a combined 5 points.

However, a win is a win. Loyola goes home disappointed 17-14.

 

8. Lake Zurich 10-1

Rolling Meadows tried their best but come

up just short. Lake Zurich takes it 10-7.

 

9. Maine South 10-1

So close, but yet so far. Glenbrook South

can’t hang on and lose 12-10.

 

10. Prairie Ridge 11-0

Every time Oswego turned around the boys from “The Ridge”

were kicking extra points. 56-36 sound good enough?

 

11. Geneva 11-0

St. Charles East wanted this game bad. Just not

as bad as Geneva. 35-14 was the final.

 

12. Driscoll 11-0

If you happen to play for a 4A school, and the name

of that school is not Driscoll…. Transfer.

 

13. Oak Forest 10-1

Hubbard loses to by the closest of margins.

Oak Forest gets the win 21-20.

 

14. Lincoln Way East 9-2

They should change their names to Lincoln Way Beasts.

Nequa Valley gets clobbered 43-14.

 

15. Homewood Flossmoor 7-4

1st they beat Downers South. Then they surprise

Andrew. Can you say Cinderella?

 

16. De La Salle 9-2

Whoa! Cary Grove still can’t believe it. De La Salle

comes up big in OT 27-26.

Another OT thriller. Glenbrook North

gets shown the door 28-22.

Remember Providence? Bloomington will. The

boys in green make it hot 24-13.

 

19. Lemont 8-2

Lemont triples up against Grant.

They get the “W” 21-7.

 

20. Aurora Christian 11-0

Aurora Christian scores 59 against Savanna West Carroll.
