Chicago Bulls: Nothing Left to Give
Written by Bill Bizeau / CS Staff Writer    Thursday, 30 April 2009 11:54    PDF Print E-mail
Emotionally drained, I sat on my couch Tuesday night stunned. I still don't want to talk about it. What else do they have to do; I mean really, are you as drained as I am. I'm talking about this Chicago Bulls team. I don't know what else I can say. When this series began and the news of KG was brought upon us, I knew we had a chance. Was it as good of a chance as we have made it, probably not. Tonight is game 6, back home at the United Center. I will be making my first appearance to the post season as well tonight. Yes, as the commercials tell you the 300 level is the party spot. Maybe it is, I'll soon find out.

Should this series have been ended already? I believe so, had it not been for some rookie coaching mistakes and a lack of playoff experience this series could have been done in 5 games. Vinny not having timeouts, the ability to NOT guard Ray Allen, although I think he still would have hit those threes regardless of if there were 10 hands in his face. This series was supposed to be like this according to the basketball gods. Yes, I'm calling them out, where ever they are.

The slap to the face given to Brad Miller by Rajon Rondo will now probably live as one of those plays. You know what I'm talking about, those plays that you can tell your grandkids about. The play that will be talked about on your next fishing trip with your buddies. We will have to come up with a catchy name, so far I've got “the defacer” and “it's a bird, it's a plane, no its Rondo's slaaaappppp.” Obviously I have some work to do on those. Look though fan's, we can’t dwell on that anymore. Miller missed those free throws and then proceeded to whip the ball at the rim like he was trying to win a prize at a carnival where you have to knock down the bottles, but you know the bottles are weighted so you have to throw it as hard as you can!

Are the ref's in on something we are not? Do they enjoy what they are doing to Celtics and Bulls fans? Maybe this is how they get there jollies, I don't know but whatever it is, it’s working. Like I said I'm spent. I have given everything I can to see this team through this round. So in most situation's at this point you would say I'm done, I've done all I can, time to part ways. Ha, that would be the easy way out, instead I'll be sitting in the stadium biting my nails until there is nothing left, ripping the cardboard they give you to hold your nachos into a million pieces, you name it, I'll be doing it.

I guess one way to look at it is; win or lose, I'll be in the party section. 300 level baby!
