Week 11 NFL Picks: 4 Reasons the Bears Will Beat the Chargers
Thursday, 17 November 2011 21:19    PDF Print E-mail

Ah, the classic case of two teams heading in completely different directions.

The Chicago Bears are on fire right now, ripping off four straight wins in convincing fashion. Last Sunday’s 37-13 thrashing of the Lions was the icing on the cake. In three consecutive matchups, they’ve taken down the Bucs, Eagles and Lions—not too shabby.

Meanwhile, the Chargers are sliding. That might be an understatement—the Chargers are fading into oblivion.

After four straight losses, many are putting the kibosh on San Diego’s playoff hopes. Philip Rivers is suddenly a turnover machine, Norv Turner’s seat is so hot his pants are on fire and nobody seems to be able to stay healthy.

This game means a lot to the Chargers. If they can pull this one off, they’re still in the thick of the AFC West race. A loss could mean Turner’s exit and definitely means a long road back to the playoffs.

This game’s important for Chicago, too. A win puts the Bears in the elite conversation, and a loss puts them back into the "possible playoff team" conversation.

So who's going to win? Bleacher Report NFL Analyst Evan Adrian says it will be Chicago and has highlighted four crucial reasons why. Take a look and see for yourself!
